If we are to be successful in overturning these proposals and protecting Dronfield’s green belt for the enjoyment of future generations THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE! We need to:

  1. Raise as much awareness of what has been proposed as possible, by leafleting and talking to our friends, family and neighbours about the Local Plan.
  2. Ensure that as many people as possible submit objections through the consultation before the closing date of Wednesday 4th April 2018. This will make the Planning Inspector aware of the very strong opposition to Greenbelt proposals and our belief that the Council have not proven the necessary, “exceptional circumstances” needed to remove land from the Greenbelt for housing.
  3. Research and formulate the strongest possible arguments in opposition to the proposals and equip local residents with the information they need in order to be able to submit strong objections through the consultation.

If you feel you may be able to help with any of these tasks, we want to hear from you. Please contact us at dronfieldgreenbelt@outlook.com or by using the Contact page.
